As the world struggles with the coronavirus outbreak, clearly my first priority has to be the safety of my clients and also myself. 

However, with the latest advise on social distancing, I understand that the vast majority of my clients wish to postpone their events.  

Cancellations or refunds due to Covid19

If you need to reschedule or cancel your general booking appointment or your wedding day due to government restrictions, no refunds can be offered, however your booking fee can be transferred once, free of charge to your new date within 12months, pending availability. If I'm not available, you can use your booking fee for hair and/or makeup for another event, a hair and/or makeup lesson within 12 months.

Bookings can only be postponed once. If you want to postpone a second time and NZ is not in a lockdown Level 2, 3 or 4 at the time of your date, you will be charged a 10% rebooking fees. If you need to cancel your booking, you will only forfeit your retainer. 

If you need to cancel someone's services on the invoice due to them being overseas and can no longer attend if you provide at least one month's notice then that is totally fine. if you provide less than one month's notice you can either get someone else to take their place or you will lose the retainer paid for them.

If you are thinking of postponing your wedding please do get in touch and I will do my best to accommodate your new date.

Please note that my usual cancellation policy applies to bookings which are not rescheduled. I also understand how upsetting it can be to have to cancel or postpone a long waited social occasion, such as a wedding. 


If you are feeling unwell leading up to your appointment whether it be a general hair and makeup appointment or a wedding trial, no matter how small your symptoms are, I would be grateful if you could contact me and if necessary we will rearrange your appointment. 

For bridal trials I usually encourage Brides to bring a friend or a family member for support and advice however, until further notice please can this be a one-on-one appointment with myself and you!

All my brushes, makeup and hair equipment is washed and sanitized prior to each appointment.

If I can't attend the wedding or any general booking for any reason, I'm offering a full refund and will do my best to find you, someone, to replace me.

My heart goes out to everyone struggling with disrupted plans from this virus. I hope this policy makes it easier for everyone to look forward to a future date so they can throw the party they have been dreaming of.
